Your deepest fear is that you’re powerful beyond measure.

Transcript: I’m here in Sweden just by a lake south of Stockholm and coming to an end of three days of leadership development for one of the largest Swedish private employers together with my dear friend Agneta.

We just closed a module talking about the light inside us and we’re working with quite senior leaders, directors and a couple of business unit leaders, couple of project managers doing 50 million euro type of projects, so seasoned professionals, and we talked about the shadow side that holds us back, that make us shrink, and also the light inside us, and allowing that light to shine bright.

I want to share a poem with you that really resonates with me and it’s a poem that Nelson Mandela read on his inauguration speech when he became the president of South Africa, and it’s written by Marianne Williamson and it goes like this:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate,
our deepest fear is we are be a powerful beyond measure,
it’s our lightness, not our darkness that most frightens us, we ask ourselves:

Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually who are you not to be?

You playing small doesn’t serve the world,
there’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are born to manifest the glory that’s within us, and it’s not just in some of us,
it’s in everyone and when let our own light shine we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same,
and as we are liberated from our own fear our
presence automatically liberates others.

I think that’s beautiful and imagine if you can face life and the people around you letting your own light shine give permission to other to let their light shine and liberate them from their fear and their shadow sides.

Talk to you soon again, ciao!

Kindlings are my way of keeping myself accountable for breathing the fire that’s in my soul and I hope to inspire others to do the same in the process.

The word kindling means a small and dry, easily flammable material to help a fire get going. Once the kindling is burning, it can ignite the larger pieces of wood in your fire.

That’s is what aspire to do – Help you start your fire so you experience the warmth of your soul and feel inspired to keep feeding the fire that’s in your soul.
